Why Consistency Wins
💡 The Real Secret Behind Every Win? Consistency.
Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough credit: consistency.
Not hustle.
Not perfection.
Not willpower.
Just quietly, steadily showing up again and again.
In my business, things are growing. But it’s not because of one magical launch or viral post. It’s because I consistently serve my clients, record podcasts, write emails, and keep showing up, even on the days it would’ve been easier not to.
We have a fancy scale at the gym that measures weight, muscle mass and body fat. My body fat is down, my muscle mass is up, and I am so happy about it. That didn’t come from some dramatic overhaul. It came from consistently lifting weights and eating well, even when I didn’t feel like it. I was absolutely not perfect at either of those things.
My podcast is in the top 2% globally. Not because I cracked some SEO code. Because I’ve consistently released episodes every Monday and Thursday for over 165 episodes.
Here’s another one: my mindset. The calm, steady energy I embody (again, mostly, not perfectly!) comes from consistently doing the work. I catch and question negative thoughts, I focus on what’s working, and redirect my brain — over and over again.
Consistency won’t always feel exciting. Most of the time, I love going to the gym, eating healthy, running my business, recording podcasts, and working on my mindset. It doesn’t have to be a grind you hate. But being consistent even on the days you don’t feel like it are the real game changers.
So if you’ve got a goal that matters to you, ask yourself: What's one small and simple way I can keep showing up for this with consistency?
You don’t need to do everything. You just need to do the next thing. And then do it again.
